Your Donation Transforms Lives
Be Their Hope Ministry strives to provide for the daily, educational, medical, transportation, and sustainability needs of the children & staff at Tumaini Children's Home. By supporting one or more of these five needs, your tax deductible donation helps make this possible.
Daily Food & Necessities
Providing a chance to grow strong and healthy
Your donations make sure the kids at Tumaini Children’s Home have access to three meals a day, as well as having everything they need to stay clean and healthy. That includes basics like disinfectants, cleaning supplies, hygiene items, sanitary pads, and even shoe polish—little things that make a big difference in their daily lives.

Education
Providing a chance to escape 3rd world poverty
Your donations help pay for tuition and examination fees. Your donation also helps purchase school uniforms, shoes, socks, textbooks, and writing materials. It is our hope that every one of our children have the opportunity to obtain a university degree or technical training that they can apply towards making their community stronger.

Medical Care
Providing access to essential medical care

Your donations help purchase bandaids, peroxide, triple antibiotics, cotton balls, deep hit spray, gloves, malarial tests, malarial medicine, ibuprofen, cold & flu medicine, & sanitary pads. It also helps treat skin infections and bacterial infections, as well as provide access to hospital care. Immediate access to essential medical care can be the difference between life and death.

Land & Livestock
Providing opportunities to be self-sustaining
Your donations make it possible to plow, fertilize, plant, and harvest crops like corn, beans, sweet potatoes, and other vegetables at Tumaini Children’s Home. Growing our own food helps lower the cost of feeding the children and staff, while also supporting our chickens, cattle, and sheep. The chickens provide eggs and the cows provide fresh milk for the children and staff. We use manure from all the animals to fertilize the gardens, and when we have extra harvest, we gladly share it with the local families who help on the farm and with elderly neighbors in our community.

Transportation
Providing access to transportation 24/7
Your donations help cover the cost of fuel and auto insurance, giving Tumaini Children’s Home 24/7 access to a safe, reliable, and well-maintained vehicle. This van not only supports the children’s daily needs but also helps the wider community—whether it’s giving a neighbor a ride to a family funeral, bringing young or elderly children to church, or making sure deaf and disabled children can take part in special events like the Day of the African Child.
